Peter Gibson: Entertainment Secretary
Committee_avatar_img_8598
Peter Gibson is from Nairn in the Highlands of Scotland and has lived and worked in China, Saudi Arabia & Qatar and has been in Doha for 15 years spread over the last two decades. His wife Raelene is from Nova Scotia, Canada and is fond of saying “he’s Scottish and I’m Nottish”. Peter has been entertaining expats in Qatar as the frontman of The Exiles (in his kilt!) since 2007 although his very first gig in Doha was as part of the entertainment for Burns Night in 2006 for the then named Caledonian Society. Peter has been entertained at many of the Scots in Qatar ceilidhs since, so he feels it very fitting to join the Scots in Qatar Committee as the Entertainment Secretary.
