Qatar Animal Welfare Society (Q.A.W.S.) has originated from a need to give shelter to abandoned cats & dogs in the State of Qatar.
Qatar Animal Welfare Society is entirely dependant upon the gestures of good-will and community-driven support, they have around 100 animals in their care at any given time.

The Scots in Qatar were delighted to be able to support the work of QAWS with a donation at the 2012 St Andrew's Ball.  Our Chieftan, Patricia, is pictured presenting a cheque to QAWS representative, Kirsten.
